La Tapatia Tortilleria, Inc. Issues an Allergy Alert on Undeclared Eggs in "Teleras"
Fresno, CA - June 20, 2002 -- La Tapatia is recalling its 18oz. 6 count packages
of Teleras because they contain undeclared eggs. People who have allergies or
severe sensitivities to eggs run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic
reactions if they consume these products.
The Teleras were distributed to Bridge Store in Madera, CA, R&N Market
in Hanford, CA, and to local restaurants and delis.
The product comes in a clear plastic package with UPC code 43209-50865, with
the following expiration code dates:

The recall was initiated after it was discovered the label on the Teleras package
did not list eggs.
